Canadian $2 with some silver

I took off a little early from work and went to my favorite old park. I concentrated on an area we have not hunted that much. It's in the woods and a lot of junk is too be found. I found a wheat penny or two but mostly trash. Moved over to the old sledding hill and found a 1940 Mercury Dime. The dime was just under the surface. Also was cool to find the Canadian Two Dollar coin. This didn't come from the old sledding hill but rather by some picnic tables. The coin wasn't even buried – just under some leaves.

Fourth V Nickel this year

Another couple hunts in the cool crisp fall air. The first time to the park I got a neat token and a silver war nickel.

Next time back I got the 1896 V Nickel.

My fourth V Nickel for the year. Pretty beat up but still a clear date. Also got a bunch of early wheat pennies. 1912, 1917, four 1918's, 1925, etc. Nate found a couple Indian Head Pennies but I didn't have such luck.
